Viimeiset pari vuotta ovat olleet meille erittäin hiljaisia näyttelyrintamalla. Olen sitä mieltä, että on tärkeämpää pysyä terveenä ja turvassa kunnes pahin hellittää. Tilanteesta huolimatta muutama aktiivinen kasvatinomistaja on tänä aikana hienoin tuloksin. Vaikka kasvateillani on lähinnä 1-3 tulosta näyttelyistä viimeisen parin vuoden ajalta menestyivät ne kivasti Punaiset ja Punavalkoiset Irlanninsetterit ry:n vuoden setteri-kilpailuissa.

Erityisesti haluan kiittää Hildan ensimmäisten Fansett-pentujen omistajia aktiivisuudesta ja onnitella upeista tuloksista jotka toivat Hildalle toisen sijan Vuoden Jalostuskoirakilpailuissa.

Vuoden Pentu

Past two years have been very quiet of showing for us. I'm thinking if people stay safe and healthy it's much more important. However, a few dogs have visited in few shows during this time and each of them have done very well! Though they -for this reason- mostly have only 1-3 show results they did so well in Irish Setter Club of Finland Setters of the year competitions. I'm very proud of each of you!

Especially I want to say thank you for Hilda's Fansett-litter/ owners who gained such a great results this year and by the
points of this one litter she placed second in The Breeding Dog of the Year competition.

Kesä on kohta ohi ja meillä on nautittu kesästä uimalla ja lenkkeilemällä ihan vain kotosalla. Koiranäyttelyt ovat olleet tämän vuoden suosista luovalla tauolla ja taitaa olla niin, että tämän loppuvuodenkin ainoaksi tapahtumaksi jää Redword-kasvateille ja kutsuvieraille syyskuussa järjestettävä epävirallinen näyttely.

Seuraava pentue on myös suunnitteilla ja juoksuja odotamme alkavaksi syys-lokakuussa. Tästä lisää myöhemmin.

Pennut ovat löytäneet uudet kodit itselleen ja elämä ilman koiraharrastuksia tuntuu vuosien harrastamisen jälkeen aika mukavalta. Vaihtelu virkistää ja kotonakin voi puuhata monenlaista!

Uudet kotisivut rakentuvat pikkuhiljaa. Vanhat sivut ovat vielä auki päällekkäin uusien kanssa mutta poistuvat vuoden aikana käytöstä kunhan uusien sivujen valmiusaste on riittävän pitkällä.

Summer is nearly gone and we've enjoyed the Summer nearly by swimming and walks. Due the Covid-situation we've left showing for a long break and it looks like the only event this year will be the special show for Redword Setters and few invited friends in September.

Our next litter is planned and we are waiting for season in September-October. More information later.

Puppies have found new homes and life without dog hobbies feels exciting after years and years. Freshing indeed and it's possible to do many things at home too!
